Stanley originally was a small fishing village on the south coast of Hong Kong Island- now a popular residential area, with attractions like the famous Stanley Market and also now a good selection of drinking and eating options along the waterfront on Main Street. A more recent addition is Murray House development- in colonial architectural style- and containing a number of high quality restaurants and bars. Among the more popular spots are the Boathouse and Smugglers Inn.
