Another Hound Cafe is an elegant, sophisticated cafe serving an innovative menu combining Thai and Italian cuisines. Located within the vast Siam Paragon Mall , in the heart of Bangkok’s downtown shopping district, the mall is probably the most prestigious luxury retail and lifestyle mall in Bangkok. A sibling of the Greyhound fashion brand and lifestyle cafes, Another Hound Cafe was launched with the opening of Siam Paragon in 2005. Greyhound is one of the enduring home grown fashion and lifestyle brands of Thailand, and has garnered an acclaimed status both within Thailand and amongst a discerning international clientele. Branching out from their roots as a fashion lifestyle brand, the first Greyhound Cafe was launched in 1997 at the Emporium Mall, and following its popularity, six further Greyhound Cafes have been subsequently established within other leading shopping and lifestyle malls in Bangkok, and the first international branch in recent months was opened at the IFC Mall in Hong Kong. In creating Another Hound Cafe, the Greyhound founders have taken their casual cafe dining concept to another level- both in terms of an innovative cuisine, and an interior design of sophisticated elegance and style.

Prominently located on the first level at the front corner of the main mall building, with high glass windows overlooking the external forecourt, Another Hound Cafe creates its own presence within the mall environment. The large corner space is divided into a number of dining zones- with the main room accessed directly from the entrance, an adjacent rectangular dining room, and a dining zone in the front section overlooking the external forecourt. Some further tables are located in an area directly adjoining the cafe on the mall floor.
The design cues on elements of the stylish cafes found in the major cities of Italy- combined with contemporary, “industrial” features such as the black exposed ceiling ductwork, raw concrete structural pillar, and extensive uses of black metal lattice work screens as room dividers. The overall atmosphere is of understated elegance, with dimmed lighting provided by whimsical chanderliers, polished dark timber flooring, predominantly black walls, long black leather banquettes, and table settings of crisp white linen, polished silver cutlery. The front seating section is bathed in daylight from the full length, black framed, folding glass windows.
Directly adjacent, at the entrance to the main cafe, is the related dessert booth- SWEET HOUND. With its own seating area, it offers sumptuous desserts to mall visitors who just need a sweet fix rather than a full meal.

The dining concept at Another Hound Cafe is a genuinely original, and innovative cross-fertilization of Italian and Thai cuisines that reaches beyond the much clichéd “fusion” label. The resultant menu offers interesting combinations of ingredients and flavours. Some dishes are purely Italian in heritage, others distinctly Thai, but it is when the cross-fertilization takes place that the diner’s palate is challenged and stimulated by the combinations. Sometimes the ingredient combinations are not complex- a Baby Spinach salad has slices of Thai pork sausage on top. Or Bruschetta comes with Thai spicy minced pork or chicken. A more complex dish is when ink spaghetti is combined with shrimps and scallops that have been stir-fried with Italian basil leaves, green pepper and chili.
The extensive menu breaks down into categories of Soups & Salads; Appetizers; Greyhound Favourites; Sandwich & Burgers; Pasta Noodles & Rice; Entrees; and Desserts.
The Drinks menu features the specialty of Greyhound Cafes and Another Hound Cafe– healthy fruit cocktails and shakes. The combinations of seasonally fresh fruits are regularly updated. Highlights include Straberry Shake; Passion Fashion– passion fruit, pineapple & mint; and Pink Journey– strawberry, frozen strawberry, apple juice and lime juice.
In addition to the fruit drinks, regular drinks are also served- soft drinks, coffees and teas, a limited selection of wines, beers and spirits.
