Inspired by Barcelona’s chic beach clubs – casual sophistication with progressive cuisine & cocktails

FOC Sentosa opened in October 2016 as a beachfront offshoot of the celebrated FOC Spanish restaurant on Hong Kong Street in Singapore’s CBD. Located along a secluded stretch of Palawan Beach on Sentosa’s south coast, the new venue takes inspiration from the chic beach clubs of Barcelona’s Port Olympic strip – a multi-faceted destination offering a relaxed beachfront lounge bar and casual dining experience by day, while transitioning in the evenings into a stylish Mediterranean cuisines restaurant. Conceptualised by FOC’s acclaimed Spanish chef-partner Nandu Jubany, the new venue features his creative interpretations of contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, while at the bar, FOC Creative Beverage Director Dario Knox has created a program of refreshing cocktails centred on classic cocktails reimagined with tropical Asian influences.
Design Designed by the Barcelona design studio behind the original FOC restaurant design, the newly built beach club seamlessly combines a laid-back beach club vibe with elevated dining experiences in the chic restaurant. A shimmering outdoor pool visually delineates the open-air deck space bar and lounge from the adjacent wing housing the open kitchen and chic dining room, while the twin-level profile of the building blends in harmoniously with the beach location – creating a serene oasis of understated sophistication. Additional upper-level spaces are well suited for memorable private and corporate events.
Cuisine Diners at FOC Sentosa can expect a menu of contemporary Mediterranean cuisine created by FOC chef-partner Nandu Jubany. In the restaurant, the lunch and dinner menu comprises selections of hot and cold tapas, grilled whole fish, meats, and paella rice dishes for sharing. And over on the terrace lounge side, an all-day menu is centred on the hallmark FOC elevated tapas – encapsulated in plates such as the Chicken Wing Sandwich and Fish & Chips FOC Style.
Cocktails At the well-stocked terrace bar refreshing beverages are served all day. In addition to their sumptuous cocktails, the drinks list features a good variety of Spanish and European wines and champagne by the glass or bottle, large serves of sharing cocktails and the signature FOC Red Sangria. Cocktail highlights include the Jack Sparrow Mojito with rum, passionfruit, vanilla and mint; and the FOC interpretation of the classic Singapore Sling – Singapore Swing – with gin, blackberry, raspberry, citrus, and honey,
FOC Sentosa serves lunch and dinner in the restaurant Tuesday to Sunday, and at the beachfront terrace beverages and snacks are served between 11:30am and 11pm. Check the Facebook Page for menu updates and special events and promotions.
