Buddha Bar recently opened ( 2008) in a restored Dutch era mansion that was more recently the Immigration Department in Jakarta. Local franchise of Paris based operator of “hip” Buddha Bar restaurants/lounges. Asian themed interior decor- with some prominent Buddha statues. Variety of dining rooms, lounges and bars in the large building.
UPDATE 2011- THIS VENUE HAS CHANGED FORMAT AND IS NOW KNOWN AS BISTRO BOULEVARD– SERVING FRENCH CUISINE
