Cotton’s first opened at this location in the French Concession in 2005 and has been very popular ever since.
Set in a restored colonial villa and garden, surrounded by large trees- providing a relaxing and peaceful environment.
Cotton’s has an outdoor bar and eating area- shaded by trees and umbrellas in summer- and warmed by gas heaters for cold winter days and nights (there are plans to add additional awning coverage for more winter comfort later in 2010).
Inside the villa is the main bar, plus a number of rooms for both dining and relaxing with a drink. Open fireplaces offer warmth and atmosphere in the winter months.
There are numerous “house speciality” cocktails and drinks- together with an extensive food menu. Weekend brunches and long lunches are a pleasant way to spend some hours..
There is another branch of Cotton’s a couple of kms away- see separate posting for more details.
