The Nest is a bar/lounge and restaurant on the rooftop of LeFenix Hotel in Bangkok- located in one of the coolest nightlife areas of Bangkok -Suhkhumvit Soi 11- with neighbours such as Q Bar and Bed Supperclub.
The ambience is casual and relaxing- with comfortable seating around tables in a garden setting, or at high tables around the bar area.
The 360 degree views are spectacular across the lower Sukhumvit skyline.
A “beach” area where faux rattan cabanas are placed on a sandy platform offers some novelty, and also there are several “private” seating areas for more discrete gatherings.
For drinks the selection includes a number of “signature” cocktails- such as “Spicy Mango Margarita”, “Campari Fresco” and the large crystal tumblers of Mojito- either to share- or for yourself to really kick the evening off! A wide selection of wines and champagnes, beers, and spirits are all available from the bar. All prices are very reasonable- without the common “rooftop” surcharge, and no cover charge.
A DJ plays a mixture of music- from 1980’s pop tunes to the latest tunes.
The menu offers a selection of both bar snacks and full dining options- with the emphasise on distinctive Thai cuisine.
Some of the more popular appertisers include fried salmon spring rolls, lemongrass prawn cakes, and Japanese style endame green beans.
The Nest is open to the sky in the dry months- and with protective awnings for the “wet” season.
