Café De Burse is a recently opened European style café conveniently located in the new Equity Tower office building , which is within the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) – and in close proximity to the Jakarta Stock Exchange building and the upmarket Pacific Place shopping mall and Ritz Carlton Hotel. Café De Burse is easily accessed directly from pavement side steps down to the lower level, or though the main building lift lobby.
The facade features dark timber panelling and glass panels, which provide a contrast to the sleek modern architecture of the office tower.
The interior features golden teakwood panelling, with timber and red leather upholstered furniture, timber floors, dimmed lighting, and old pub and cafe memorabilia on the walls. The cosy bar is reached up a few steps from the main dining floor area- with comfortable bars stools along the bar and adjacent counter.
Café de Burse opens early in the mornings for breakfast, and the kitchen remains open all day serving both lunch and dinner.
The internationally managed café & restaurant has an extensive drinks list- including wines, cocktails, spirits, and a food menu featuring international and local dishes. Other attractions include daily imported newspapers, free wifi, a widescreen television and projector with screen for sports events, and friendly staff who serve with a cheerful and informal nature. Cold draught beer is a special focus of the bar!
