The team behind the popular POTATO HEAD restaurant /bar in Jakarta launched their latest venture with the entry of Potato Head Beach Club into the nightlife scene of  Bali in December of 2010.
Potato Head Beach Club Bali was established on a prime location on the beachfront at Seminyak Beach. The concept was to blend the relaxed daytime beach front experience with sophisticated dining options and a vibrant nightlife as day transitions into night. The unique concept combines haute cuisine, exotic cocktails and entertainment centred around music, art and fashion.

The complex was designed by leading architect Andra Matin- taking inspiration for the towering elliptical facade from the ancient Roman Coliseum. The building features the same iconic use of antique mismatched teak window shutters collected from around the Indonesian archipelago for the essential decorative element as in the original Potato Head in Jakarta .

The facility includes a beach front bar adjacent to a large emerald green lawn area and infinity swimming pool. Then within the main building on the ground floor is the Potato Head Bar– where the eclectic selection of original creation, and classic cocktails are served up by the expert mixologists. Moving inside from the bar / lounge space are three  distinct restaurant concepts. The Potato Head Bistro is serving a selection of internationally inspired comfort food dishes based on home cooked recipes. The Lilin restaurant offers a tapas selection of South East Asian cuisine, highlighted with fresh offerings of local seafood.  A fine dining experience is presented at Tapping Shoes– serving French inspired haute cuisine through the interpretation of a Japanese chef. Later in the evenings, the lawn amphitheatre of Potato Head Beach Club evolves into a vibrant party zone as resident DJ’s play their tunes well  into the early morning hours. Potato Head Beach Club are also regularly hosting special events and parties- which are highlighted on their Facebook page.

Since it’s opening last year, Potato Head Beach Club has proven an immediate hit with both local Bali residents and the throngs of international tourists visiting Bali. Attracting a discerning clientele, it provides an appealing range of options to enhance the resort island lifestyle that has made Bali one of the premier resort destinations in Asia.
