ROOTZ has been one of the hottest new “superclubs” on the KL clubbing scene since its opening in late 2009. Located in a cavenous space, on the Rooftop of LOT 10 mall in central KL, the venue can comfortably accommodate 700 people. The club operates in tandem with the next door brasserie and outdoor bar- Teeq. Guests can dine at Teeq, or just relax with an open air drink, before joining the party at ROOTZ.

The stunning interior of ROOTZ was modelled on the opulent extravagance of Tsarist Russian palaces and museums. The vast space has been ornately decorated from the towering ceilings down to the red carpeted floor. The color palette is extensively deep reds, gold and black. The walls are covered in Russian themed architectural designs, with huge replica framed paintings of Russian Tsars hung on the walls. Intricately crafted decorative light fittings are suspended from the ceilings. The furnishings feature plush red and black upholstered sofas, complete with gold cushions, set along the walls.
The club floor space is bisected by the large central bar- with service from both sides for the convenience of guests. At the rear part of the room, on a raised section is the lounge area , and in the front section- the dance floor and elevated DJ’s platform are pre-eminent. Either side of the dance floor are semi-private booths- with luxurious high backed, black sofas.

ROOTZ operates four nights per week- Wednesdays through Saturdays. Each night is run on a distinctive theme- with resident DJs and regular international celebrity guest DJ appearances.
“Playroom” Wednesdays are for the ladies- with special deals on bottles of Black Label, Smirnoff and Moet & Chandon.
“Run This Town” Thursdays feature Hip Hop and R & B tunes.
“Harajuka” Fridays means Japanese style- with ladies in “Harajuku” style getting free entry, and special deals on bottles all night.
“The Get Up” Saturdays has the DJs playing the best of recent Club Tunes.
