On 8 May 2013, for one night only, Jigger & Pony has invited the region’s best bartenders to come together to showcase current trends and techniques in celebration of its first birthday. The five Diageo Reserve World Class champions from Singapore, Taiwan, China, Thailand and Malaysia, will each helm the bar for one hour in a back-to-back showcase of the best of the region’s bartending talent in Singapore’s most talked about classic cocktail bar.

“As a regular stomping ground for both the local and visiting bartender community, we are naturally very excited about the upcoming collaboration and guarantee a night of signature technical perfection with understated showmanship. Playing host to some of the region’s best bartenders seems fitting as we celebrate our first birthday and we are humbled by the support of our peers,” says Guo Yi, General Manager and Founder of Jigger & Pony.
World Class is designed as a platform to elevate and celebrate the craft of bartenders around the world. Inviting past winners of the Diageo Reserve World Class bartender competition behind the bar to mark this event really reflects the impact we believe the initiative has had on the bartender community in Singapore and across Asia Pacific, since it launched five years ago,” commented Niamh Henry, Brand Manager, Diageo Reserve Brands, Moët Hennessy Diageo Singapore.
