Enticing discerning steakhouse diners and cocktail aficionados in Singapore since 1997, Morton’s of Chicago The Steakhouse is the local Singapore branch of the world famous international steakhouse brand- renowned for their premium quality prime beef, served in luxurious settings. Occupying a unique space within the open atrium of the iconic Mandarin Oriental Singapore, Morton’s offers two distinct venues- perched prominently within the cavenous open atrium of the hotel, The Bar is set within an eye-catching wooden beamed pagoda-style structure; and adjacent to The Bar, the main Morton’s Steakhouse restaurant dining room occupies an elegant timber paneled space. Exuding an understated luxe, the interior decor of The Bar features a warm palette of rich timbers, plush carpet, and black leather upholstery to create the sophisticated yet convivial atmosphere of a classic cocktail bar.
Open daily from 5 pm, The Bar attracts a vibrant and eclectic clientele from nearby offices, hotel guests and others “in the know”.
COCKTAILS
For fans of finely-executed classic cocktails, The Bar at Morton’s is a deliciously inviting proposition. The Bar has garnered a well-earned reputation for the sophisticated balance of their Martinis- crafted from the finest premium spirits- creating truly splendid drinks that capture the essence of the iconic gin cocktail. Dominating the cocktail list are the selections of Vodka and Gin Mortinis – grouped under three categories of spirits- “Call”; ” Super Premium” and “Ultra Premium”- with a choice from over 15 different vodkas and 5 gins. Modern flavour versions with a vodka base include the “Chocolatini”; “Lycheetini”; and “Appletini”. And for the health conscious cocktail fan- the newly created SPA-TINIS are crafted from healthy ingredients and contain under 200 calories.
BAR REFRESHMENTS
The bar menu (see copy below) offers, in addition to the extensive range of martinis and classic cocktails, an ample range of premium spirits, single malts, bottled beers, and over 20 varieties of wine by the glass- red, white and champagne. A list of BAR BITES from the Morton’s kitchens includes Blue Cheese Steak Fries; Prime Cheeseburgers; and Petite Filet Mignon Sandwiches. And for the after-dinner drinkers, a selection of sumptuous DESSERTS tempts further indulgence. Standouts include the Souffle for Two (Chocolate, Grand Marnier, Lemon & Raspberry) ; Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake- with Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream; and Morton’s Legendary Sundae- Hot Chocolate Cake mounded atop Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream, Caramel Sauce & Whipped Cream.

Perennially popular, the Mortini Night promotion (nightly except Sundays) allures with its selection of six versions of their sublime “MORTINIS” cocktails at the very special price of only S$12.95 per cocktail– and perfectly accompanied by the complimentary filet mignon steak sandwiches. A further nightly promotion- the “Late Night” offers Morton’s Prime Rib Burgers with draft beer and wines at promotional prices.

Within the circular structure, the bar counter is positioned to one side- creating a generously proportioned interior offering various seating options- comfortable leather and fabric upholstered armchairs, high tables and stools, and bar counter seats.
Subdued lighting and dark wood tones create an atmosphere of refined elegance.
Hemmed by curving waist-high glass, the interior of The Bar opens out over the spectacular atrium space.
A somewhat secluded section of the bar counter is located at the rear side of the main bar.
The open-beam construction of the pagoda style structure provides views that take in the entire open void of the hotel’s spectacular atrium.
