Sophisticated cocktail bar in Singapore established by acclaimed Spanish cocktail maestro Javier de las Muelas

Following the successful collaboration between internationally acclaimed mixologist Javier de las Muelas, and Four Seasons Hotels last year with the creation of the drinks program at the newly opened Sundara Lounge & Restaurant in Bali, the owner of iconic Barcelona bar DRY Martini has recently launched the One-Ninety Bar by Javier de las Muelas within the Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. The sleek and sophisticated One-Ninety Bar pays homage to the legendary martini service ritual developed by Javier de as Muelas at his Dry Martini Bar- with the local bartenders having undergone extensive training under the direct tutelage of the cocktail maestro. Opened in January 2014, One-Ninety Bar introduces to Singapore a stylish and refined destination for cocktail aficionados to appreciate the sublime creations of the renowned Spanish master, in an atmosphere conducive to relaxed and discrete business conversations, or equally appealing for social engagements and evening libations.
One-Ninety Bar occupies a spacious setting on the ground floor of Four Seasons Hotel Singapore- combining an elegant cocktail bar and lounge space with an open-air Terraza that features casual settings of black iron chairs and tables, plus a petite Cigar Bar, set among the verdant tropical gardens of the hotel’s grounds.
Opening at 7:30 in the mornings, One-Ninety Bar entices guests with a selection of all-day food and bar offerings that range from fresh pastries in the morning, to gourmet panini-of-the-day sandwiches at lunchtime, complemented by the menu of appetizing bar bites to pair with the cocktails. A Weekend Afternoon Tea tantalizes with its option of pairing cocktails with the 3-tier seasonal selection of sweet and savoury bites.
At the bar, in addition to the twelve varieties of signature martini specialties, the bartenders also hand-craft a selection of classic and creative cocktails. Standout features of the bar program include the signature infusions, and the house-brand “DropLets”– a collection of proprietary formulations of natural flavoring ingredients that are added to selected cocktails to impart unique flavor combinations. Flavors include Hot Chili Pepper; Fresh Ginger; Oak Smoke; and Mediterranean Rosemary. Other beverages served include a broad choice of wines and champagne by the glass, premium spirits, scotch and cognacs, plus a limited range of local and imported beers. Healthy non-alcoholic creations feature juices and concoctions made from fresh tropical fruits.
One-Ninety Bar is open daily from 8:00 am until 1:oo am. Weekend Afternoon Tea is served Saturdays and Sundays between 2: pm and 5:00 pm.
Inside One-Ninety Bar
The main bar and lounge exude an elegant sophistication with the comfortable combination of natural timbers, muted tones of the soft furnishings, and plush tan leather bar seats that line the black marble bar.
At the centre of the long black marble bar counter- the bartender stands on a raised platform for the preparation of the signature Dry Martinis.
The One-Ninety Bar- outdoor Terraza
The Terraza occupies an open-air space behind the main bar- surrounded on three sides by the lush tropical gardens of the Four Seasons Hotel.
A petite cigar bar stands at one end of the Terraza.

Signature Dry Martini ritual– the bartender adds two serves of ice cold gin, and some drops of vermouth, to a mixing glass full of crystal clear, filtered-water ice cubes- stirred for 15 seconds, then shaken for 2 seconds- and poured into an ice cold glass, together with a single queen olive.
Dry Martini- Bombay Sapphire, Martini Extra Dry, olive.
Wagyu Mini Sliders- onion marmalade & Horseradish mayo.
Scented Negroni- Bombay Sapphire, Martini Extra Dry, and Mediterranean Rosemary DropLets.
Pulled Pork Taco- with jalapeno & 190 BBQ Sauce
Spicy Mai Tai- Bacardi Superior, Captain Morgan, orgeat, spices.
Crispy Calamari- with lime & chipotle aioli.
Smoked Berries- Bombay Sapphire, berries, Smoke DROPLET.
