New outdoor zone- “The Terrace”- opened at Jakarta’s favourite destination for premium quality wines and relaxed dining

Conveniently located at the upscale Plaza Indonesia mall, Cork & Screw takes advantage of its street level facade with its recently expanded and remodeled outdoor zone- The Terrace. Other zones within Cork & Screw accommodate the retail wine display, a substantial bar, plus an indoor dining section. Adopting a minimalist decor palette, the stylish interior features predominantly warm timber furniture and shelving, creating a comfortable atmosphere of understated sophistication.
With over 500 labels on its shelves, Cork & Screw offers one of Jakarta’s largest selections of premium vintage wines- with an expertly curated assemblage of superb wines from the leading global wine regions, with an emphasis on wines from France, Italy and Australia. In addition to its impressive wine offerings, Cork & Screw entices with its culinary credentials- serving an extensive menu of appetizing Asian and Western bistro dishes. The kitchen serves up dishes all day- either full meals for lunch and dinner- or snacks and sharing platters to accompany a bottle of wine anytime of the day. Rewarding choices from the menu include Beef Cheek Bourguignon- with beef bacon and truffled mashed potatoes; Oxtail Soup served with steamed rice; and Hainan Rice served with a choice of chicken or duck. Other specialties include flame-grilled premium-grade steaks imported from USA and Australia- simply served with watercress and french fries; and the delicious desserts such as Mille feuille, Profiteroles, and Yoghurt Panacotta with blueberry compote.
Headlining the bar program are the Cork & Screw “Ten Signature Wine Cocktails”– consummate mixology combines various wines with ingredients including spirits and fresh fruits to create some sublimely balanced drinks. Examples include Sage, Elderflower and Cucumber Sangria- sage leaves, elderflower syrup, dry gin, chardonnay, fresh lime juice, on top Sprite; and Scotch Blueberry Martini– Scotch Whiskey, orange liqueur, red wine, blueberries,lemon juice, sugar. The drinks list also offers selections of classic cocktails, premium spirits, and single malts.
