Expandable awnings above the bar area offer protection in the event of rain – while the lounge areas are completely open to the evening sky offering 360 degree views across the urban skyline.
Open daily from 4:00 pm (weather permitting), amBar offers a pleasant outdoor dining experience, transforming later in the evenings into a vibrant late night destination. Table bookings are recommended for weekend nights – particularly during the popular cooler and dry months of Bangkok’s “winter” season (November – March). Drinks at amBar are expertly crafted, generously portioned, and attractively priced. Headlining the wide selection are cocktails grouped under “Timeless Classics” and “Signature Cocktails”. The list features many of the all-time favourite drinks such as the signature Mojito; Pina Colada; and Margarita; and classics like Singapore Sling; Long Island Ice Tea; and Negroni. In addition to the cocktails, the bar serves a wide range of beers, premium spirits, plus wines and champagnes.

A concise dining menu hits the spot with a well-crafted selection of both Thai and international cuisines, ranging from popular bar snacks to familiar comfort dishes such as salads, pastas, burgers and grilled meats. Among the most-favored are dishes like the Grilled Sirloin Steak, served with potato, vegetables and a choice of sauces; Prawn Papaya Salad – with green papaya, chili, cherry tomato, fish sauce, lime juice; and The Beef Burger – assembled with grilled Australian Black Angus beef, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, cornichons, steak fries, cheese, with toppings of smoked bacon, sliced avocado, fried egg, and creamed mushroom.
