New branch of glamorous Bangkok cafe – gourmet Italian cuisine spiced up with pan-Asian influences

Recently unveiled at the revamped The Emporium luxury mall in Bangkok, Another Hound Cafe takes over the space previously occupied by its sibling cafe brand, Greyhound Cafe. The chic, modern restaurant serves innovative interpretations of Italian cuisine – contemporary dishes with Thai and pan-Asian influences – that have defined the signature culinary style of the original Another Hound Cafe (operating at Siam Paragon since 2005). Exuding a vibrant and glamorous atmosphere in harmony with the contemporary lifestyles of its sophisticated clientele, the new iteration of Another Hound Cafe offers a refreshed menu of gourmet Italian-Asian dishes, complemented by the addition of a fresh seafood and champagne bar. Open all day, Another Hound Cafe serves lunch, high tea and dinner, together with enticing dessert and beverage offerings.
Located in an expansive corner space on the first floor of The Emporium, Another Hound Cafe is arranged around four interconnected dining sections. The glamorous main dining room occupies the central space and includes the new seafood and champagne bar concept – while an adjacent private and VIP-zone is partitioned behind vintage-style metal scissor doors. Opening off the back of the main room, the skyline zone is wrapped in full height glass overlooking the nearby parkland and bustling Sukhumvit Road. And outside the main entrance, a section of pink leather sofas matched with marble tables overlooks the mall atrium.
Designed by the Greyhound creative team in collaboration with acclaimed local design studio IAW, the interior decor evokes a contemporary style of luxurious dining. A clean palette of primarily white finishes on walls and ceilings enhances the uncluttered, pared-back decor. Luxurious accents include elegant champagne-colored mirror surfaces and the quirky chandeliers – a design motif of Another Hound. Comfortably spaced, elegant white-clothed tables stand on classically patterned Italian mosaic tiled floors, evoking a cosmopolitan, chic dining experience.
Diners can expect an extensively updated menu based on the Another Hound Cafe culinary concept of “Italian gourmet with spicy Asian twists”. While some of the most popular dishes from the original menu have been retained, the new creations reflect the evolution in international dining trends of recent years, interpreted in the unique style of the Another Hound culinary team. Fresh seafood features prominently, with oysters and lobsters imported from North America, mussels from Australia, and fish from Japan. The drinks list offers a selection of cocktails, champagnes, spirits, and wine. Signature iced coffee and teas, and fresh fruit mocktails, shakes and juices offer healthy options.
Another Hound Cafe is open daily between 11 am and 10 pm. Perennially popular, table bookings for lunch and dinner are recommended. Seating at the bar area is available for walk-in guests.
