UPDATE: April 2017   Miam Miam has closed –  re-branded as Deja Vu Cafe

A casual all-day eatery serving up high-quality French-Japanese fusion cuisine, Miam Miam (meaning yum yum in French) is the Hanoi offshoot of a dining concept first launched in Singapore. Conveniently located on a busy corner in the heart of Hanoi, Miam Miam’s menu features freshly prepared contemporary French cuisine tweaked with Japanese influences – with a wide selection of well-executed and attractively priced dishes. Bright and uncluttered, the stylish interior blends contemporary design with traditional French cafe references to create a casual atmosphere for comfortable dining and refreshments. Open all day, Miam Miam serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner – together with enticing desserts and beverages.

Design   Occupying a high-ceilinged street level space, Miam Miam exudes a welcoming warmth with its rustic-chic decor and comfortable seating arrangements. Traditional French cafe decor is referenced with both the parquet and patterned tile flooring, black leather banquettes, and pressed metal ceiling panels. Brightly coloured metal and wooden chairs add a casual, laid-back vibe conducive to all-day dining.

Cuisine  At Miam Miam the kitchen team utilise classic French cooking techniques to create familiar cafe dishes – elevated with Japanese culinary ingredients thoughtfully infused into some dishes – with pleasing and unique flavour combinations. The attractively presented menu offers a wide range of dishes including soups and salads and sandwiches; Japanese-style seasonal pastas; Japanese curries cooked in French style; souffle and sweet pancakes; plus classic French desserts such as parfait, souffle, and creme brulee. Gourmet beverages include the Miam Miam specialty Matcha (green tea) drinks; single origin teas; coffee – both traditional Vietnamese and espresso style; and popular coffee freeze and ice blended drinks.

Since opening in March 2016, Miam Miam has become a favourite all-day destination for casual dining and beverages – flexible seating arrangements cater for families and small groups – while takeaway and outside catering services are also offered.
