Elegant European-style dining in refurbished villa set within a residential garden setting

Recently opened in Ho Chi Minh City, Stellar Restaurant occupies a refurbished villa within the upscale District 2 residential area. Elegantly designed with a classic yet contemporary European aesthetic, the restaurant serves a menu of familiar European cuisine complemented by an impressive wine cellar. Guests can experience refined dining and drinking experiences in the main ground floor dining room, and upper-level VIP private dining room, or in the casual ambience of the outdoor garden terrace. Owned and managed by a private Thai group, the Stellar kitchen is helmed by experienced Thai chefs, well-versed in classic French culinary techniques, while the service exudes a warm and relaxed style of hospitality.
Design Occupying a spacious site in the heart of District 2, the prominent villa is set back from the street frontage, with a large outdoor terrace dining space extending down one side of the villa. Inside, the impressively proportioned dining spaces feature a contemporary luxe decor, a muted palette, and well-spaced table settings. Several VIP private dining rooms are located on the upper level – adjacent to the large walk-in wine cellar.
Cuisines Diners at Stellar can expect well-executed renditions of Italian and French cuisines combining traditional techniques with some Asian influences. Premium fresh local and imported ingredients feature on the menu with standout dishes such as Spaghetti Tom Yum Tiger Prawns; Snow Fish Steak; and Rossini Beef with grilled US prime tenderloin. Wine pairing recommendations from the expertly curated list of French, Italian and New World wines offer well-balanced accompaniment to the fine cuisine.
Stellar Restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday between 6:30 am and 10:30 pm, with lunch served from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm, and dinner from 6:00 pm. The 3-course Set Lunch Menu offers good value at VND450++
