As Saigon’s rapidly evolving cocktail scene has seen a number of notable new bar openings during 2018, intriguingly named Drinking & Healing has garnered considerable acclaim since its opening in September. Conceived as a destination for knowledgeable cocktail enthusiasts, as well as for casual mixology encounters, Drinking & Healing finds an appealing balance between a hidden bar/speakeasy vibe – and a casual sophistication for late night drinks and socializing. Discreetly located on the 2nd floor of an aging commercial building near the centre of the bustling District 1 nightlife zone, Drinking & Healing has added an international standard cocktail haven for both locals and in-the-know visitors.

The expansive interior space has been thoughtfully stripped back to reveal raw brickwork, concrete beams, and an impressive vaulted ceiling. A spacious layout offers seating options including sofa settings and low tables and high communal bench tables, while seats at the large L-shaped bar are popular with cocktail aficionados.

At the well-stocked bar, guests can order from a list of signature cocktails – or request a bespoke creation from the knowledgeable bar team. An extensive selection of premium whiskies and other spirits add to the drinks options, while a limited choice of wines, champagne and beers are available. Complementing the drinks service, guests can indulge in gourmet burgers and other bar snacks.

Regular masterclasses and guest shifts from celebrated international bartenders and drinks industry experts underline the dedication of the Drinking & Healing team to raise the appreciation and profile of top-notch cocktail experiences in Vietnam.

Drinking & Healing opens daily from 6:30 pm until late – and keep an eye on the Drinking & Healing Facebook Page for upcoming special events, masterclasses and drinks promotions.
