Acclaimed Bangkok bar introduces the final edition of their “Art Book” cocktail concept series
February 18th, 2019
Following a refurbishment in 2017 that transformed Vesper from its original “bar & restaurant” concept to a dedicated “cocktail bar”, Vesper has gone on to garner both international and local award recognition for its polished cocktails and hospitable service. While maintaining its vintage European bar aesthetic with green marble, plush leather bar stools and subdued lighting – the muted palette of the classically elegant decor is highlighted with eclectic touches like “punk” lights and soft pink chairs.
Heading up the cocktail program, Group Bar Manager Supawit ‘Palm’ Muttaratana has extensive bartending experience – including recognition as the winner of the 2012 Diageo World Class Thailand, a ranking as #11 world’s best bartender (2012) and most recently as the winner in 2018 of the Campari Bartender Asia Competition. In addition to the carefully curated list of Classic and Modern Classic cocktails that has attracted a strong following among discerning local cocktail aficionados, Vesper has recently launched the third and final edition of their acclaimed ‘Art Book’ themed cocktail menus.
Meticulously designed and illustrated the informative ‘Art Book’ menu takes inspiration from ‘East meets West’ iconic art pieces including Western & Asian Modern Art, Contemporary artists of the late 20th and early 21st century and 3D conceptual installations and sculptures. Themed signature cocktails created by Palm introduce locally grown ingredients and flavor profiles – while cutting-edge culinary techniques are deployed to elevate the art-inspired cocktails.
Vesper is conveniently located in Bangkok’s vibrant Silom precinct and opens daily between 5:30 pm and 1:00 am. Table and bar seat bookings are recommended.
