Weekly educational experiences for spirits & cocktail aficionados launched in Singapore

The first The Whiskey Wander came to Singapore in June 2019 – introducing a new experiential series of weekly events designed by the Academy of Drinks to cater to an increasing curiosity to learn more about premium spirits. Each weekly event will explore different aspects of everything whiskey – ranging from introductory overviews to in-depth examinations of specific geographies and styles. A knowledgeable industry expert will lead each Whiskey Wander, and on occasions, guests will also have the opportunity to meet Brand Ambassadors, Master Distillers, and other brand representatives.
Each weekly The Whiskey Wander is limited to eleven patrons – with luxury private transport provided to move between a curated selection of venues. Each stop will feature either classic cocktails or neat flights – providing opportunities to sample a variety of expressions of the spirit. Venues include both high-profile cocktail bars and specialist whiskey bars.
Each 3-hour Whiskey Wander takes place every Wednesday evening commencing at 6:30 pm – with each experience showcasing three venues, a range of different brands and marques and snacks along the way. Priced at S$128+, including all drinks, snacks, and transport – The Whiskey Wander will offer different routes focused on various whiskey producing regions and categories.
