Caribbean bar introduces new cocktails – focus on contemporary interpretations of tropical cocktails

Rummin’ Tings is a Caribbean inspired bar and restaurant in the heart of Hollywood Road, offering island flavors and charm. An urban-hip destination with a modern shack look and feel offers an ideal escape in the hustle bustle of the bustling metropolis.
Featuring a selection of cocktails, both signature and classic that evoke the Caribbean’s love for rum and other potions, together with a variety of fresh fruit juices are available all day.
Recently appointed Group Bar Manager Jacob Shteyntsayg has introduced a new cocktail menu at Rummin’ Tings this winter. Explaining his approach as follows: “It is the first menu in a series of upcoming menus where we focus on Caribbean culture and history in a “fun way”, but also introducing a contemporary style of drinks and sustainable solutions, which characterise the modern way of bartending. Inspired by the most famous pirates of their own time periods.”
Standouts among the new cocktails include the William Kid Toffee, Flor de Cana 7 Years Rum, Talisker Single Malt, Orange Juice, Toffee Syrup – a smoky and nutty rum-based concoction with vegan toffee syrup. And the spirit forward Mojito-inspired cocktail with Middle-Eastern influence presented as the Draquerito – with Flor de Cana 7 Years Rum, Clement Agricole Rum, Lime Stock, Moroccan Mint Liquor, Ginger Syrup.
Several large-format cocktails served in jugs and ideal for groups to share include the English Fleet – with Remy Martin Cognac, Wray & Nephew Rum, Red Wine, Grapefruit Juice, Simple Syrup, Lime Juice – a variation of the Sangria where the classic English flavours come together.
The food menu offers dishes featuring a variety of flavors and spices from the Caribbean region. Signature dishes like homemade Jerk Chicken, handcrafted Doubles, Beef Patties, and Bake & Shrimp are served as bar-style snacks in the evening, along with other street foods
Rummin’Tings opens daily from 12 pm until 2 am – serving lunch and dinner – plus music and drinks until late.
