Celebrated bar in bustling Chinatown enclave focuses on gin-based cocktails

Set within a minimally restored traditional Chinatown shophouse, Teens of Thailand was co-founded in 2015 by high-profile local bartender Niks Anuman. Located within what was at the time an unremarkable corner of Chinatown, the bar has become a catalyst for the emergence of an expanding cluster of hip cafes, bars, and creative outlets. The first specialist gin bar to open in Bangkok, Teens Of Thailand offers a concise selection of well-crafted classic gin cocktails – highlighted by their list of Unusual Gin Tonics – showcasing gins infused in-house with local Thai flavours and herbs.
Combining a pared-back retro charm and serious cocktail credentials, Teens of Thailand nightly attracts an eclectic clientele including local cocktail aficionados and clued-up international visitors. Inside the compact interior, the limited seating fills up early, while the nightly playlist blends unobtrusively with animated conversations.
In addition to the signature Unusual Gin Tonics, the bar team serves up well-balanced classics such as Negroni, Aviation, Dry Martini and Corpse Reviver. Behind the bar, a blackboard lists four daily specials featuring “gin of the week” and other innovative creations.
Teens of Thailand opens nightly from 7:00 pm.
