Jigger & Pony – Singapore cocktail bar introduces new cocktail menu

Acclaimed bar’s new annual themed menuzine showcases cocktail craft, community & hospitality

As Singapore slowly reopens its renowned hospitality venues, award-winning cocktail bar Jigger & Pony has launched a new menu that affirms its mission — to be a place for people to find comfort, forge a friendship and share happiness. A Decent Menu, the fourth in a series of annual themed menuzines, offers over 20 cocktails ranging from redefined classics and signature tipples to punch bowls for sharing — all curated for the experience of reconnecting with others. The 62-page menuzine comes in both hardcopy and digital flipbook formats.

Six months ago Principal Bartender, Giovanni Graziadei and fellow Principal Bartenders Silvio Daniele and Uno Jang, together with the Jigger & Pony bar team, set out to create A Decent Menu – a celebration of people coming back together to connect with old and new friends, one drink at a time.

Describing the new menu Graziadei states that “each new cocktail highlights the storyline of our bar, bartenders and community, capturing the diversity of ideas that we stand for. We created drinks to stir conversation and induce curiosity, whilst keeping them true to their classic forms,” shares Graziadei. “Ultimately, these cocktails were created to be enjoyed, and as an invitation to sit at the bar to share happiness.”

Highlights from the new menu that epitomize the essence of the Jigger & Pony cocktail concept include the bar’s signature Old Fashioned, a well-balanced combination of Maker’s Mark Bourbon, demerara sugar, and angostura bitters, served over block ice with seasonal citrus garnishes. While the Supermojito is Jigger & Pony’s upgraded version of the popular mojito. Made with full-flavored Veritas Rum, lime juice distilled from lime sherbet that expresses the aroma of its essential oils, finished with locally sourced sweet mint and eau de Cologne mint.
