New Jazz-Inspired Cocktails at Foxglove pay Homage to the Golden Age of Jazz
January 15th, 2022
Acclaimed Hong Kong jazz lounge, Foxglove, pays tribute to the most captivating jazz hits and world-class musicians of all time with its intriguing new cocktail menu, capturing the electric energy of the Prohibition era and beyond. Guests can now lose themselves in the city’s best live jazz music, whilst enjoying exceptional jazz-inspired libations and elevated timeless concoctions.
The Hits, a new masterfully crafted cocktail selection devised by Foxglove’s talented mixologists, harks back to the bygone glamor of jazz establishments from Louisiana to Rio de Janeiro
Standout selections from the new cocktail menu include The Girl From Ipanema – an ode to the most famous Bossa Nova song by Grammy award-winner Antônio Carlos Jobim in 1965: an exotic, refreshing mixture made of premium Plantation Original Dark Rum, Fernet Hunter, and Green Chartreuse for a herbal touch, Horchata, sweet and tangy ginger syrup and a dash of citrus juice.
And named after the most celebrated Japanese Latin jazz band, the Nettai Tropical Jazz pairs tropical Asian flavors with extravagant spirits, featuring a homemade pandan rum, fruity and floral Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, savory lacto-fermented pineapple, and delicate lavender bitters, jazzed up with a hint of bold absinth.
In addition to the new jazz-inspired cocktails, Foxglove’s team of mixologists have introduced a new line-up of timeless cocktail icons. The Classics present the most famous mixtures refined with a unique, new twist, combining the elements of tradition, innovation, and surprise in every sip. Popular classics include the Espresso Martini – with Belvedere Vodka, Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, freshly brewed espresso, delicate chocolate bitters, and a dash of saline solution; while the Old Fashioned features Michter’s Rye, Angostura, and orange bitters, stirred with demerara and vanilla for a final sweet touch.
Foxglove’s take on the Negroni comprises Campari, premium Mancino Rosso Amaranto, exclusive Porcelain Mandarin Gin, and delicate orange bitters.
