Well-crafted, spirit-forward cocktails, Japanese-inspired bartending, and cool vibes from DJs combine to make Sugarray Apartment a popular destination in Bangkok’s Thonglor district.
Located within the community mall The Commons, Sugarray Apartment was created in 2019 by the team behind several standout Bangkok bars – including Q&A, and Thaipoika. Occupying a compact space overlooking the open-air deck space of The Commons, the blond timber minimalist decor features a 9-seat long bar counter – complete with DJ deck – and a well-stocked back bar of premium spirits. The cozy space – combined with the sociable bartender team – exudes a relaxed, sociable vibe for enjoying both the drinks and tunes from the vintage vinyl records collection.
Signature cocktails are grouped under the list “UN + learn“ featuring 10 innovative creations such as Rum Punk – blend rum, spiced almond, pineapple, and citrus; Gummy Bear – gin, peach, earl grey, apple, grape, citrus; Smoke & Honey -whisky, cherry kombucha, mezcal, oaked ginger cordial; and Hooked – vanilla vodka, aperol, sparkling wine, lacto passion fruit, tomato. While 10 classic cocktails are listed as “Deceptive Drinks Information“ – examples include Negroni, Old Fashioned, Martini, and Clover Club. Cocktails are served in generous spirit-forward portions, with Japanese-style hand-carved ice, and house-made mixers.
Sugarray Apartment opens daily, serving cocktails from 4:0pm until late – with a roster of local DJs playing on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights.
