Spectacular city views and French Riveria beach club vibes at Bangkok’s highest rooftop bar

Bangkok has a new destination rooftop bar – the iconic after-dark venue Sky Beach that opened earlier this year atop the landmark tower SkyPower Mahanakhon.
As the highest rooftop bar in Bangkok, expect amazing 360-degree views from the elevated location on the 78th floor of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon. While the panoramic views take centre stage – the menu keeps things simple with American-style bites that are served alongside late-night drinks curated by the property’s beverage manager Milk Thanaworachayakit, one of Bangkok’s most celebrated mixologists.
Milk’s beverage program for Sky Beach reflects the venue’s sky-high ambitions. Highlights from the cocktail list include Bird’s Eye View, a tequila-based cocktail steeped with fresh mango and citrus, which gets its extra heat from the fiery bird’s eye chili. Milk’s solution for staying cool during Bangkok’s hot summer months is an inventive All-Day Frosé made with dry rosé, Aperol, Lillet Rosé, peach, and lime. The resulting fluffy concoction of frozen pink snow is described as a cross between a Slurpee and soft-serve wine. For something boozier yet fruity and refreshing, Wet Gold cocktail offers a heady combination of aged pineapple rum, Dolin Rosso, and Campari to add a touch of bitterness.
Taking inspiration from Bangkok’s tropical climate, potted palm trees and retro décor create a blissed-out ambiance, while candy-striped cushions channeling French Riviera vibes add a new level of cozy for beach-style lounging to the soundtrack of downtempo beats. Sky Beach invites guests to grab a seat, tune out to live music, have a cocktail (or two) while watching the city pulse with vivid colors down below.
Sky Beach is open seven days a week from 10 am to midnight at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.
After 7 pm, the THB 500 cover charge applies and can be used as credit to enjoy any item on the menu. The cover charge can be paid at the King Power Mahanakhon ticketing center located on the ground floor.
