The Real Art of Drinking Volume III features cocktails influenced by both traditional and contemporary art
September 13th, 2023
Consistently a popular destination since its 2015 opening, attracting a discerning clientele with its cutting-edge mixology and spectacular location atop the National Gallery Singapore, Smoke & Mirrors continues to raise the bar with an annual update of its cocktail program. Under the banner of The Real Art of Drinking – the third volume has recently been introduced as Smoke & Mirrors maintains its presence among Asia’s leading bars.
Developed by Mel John Chavez, Bar Manager (in training), and Bar Supervisor Wong Wee Siong, the third rendition of The Real Art of Drinking series follows the successes of the previous two menus launched in 2021 and 2022.
This year, the 12-drink menu draws its focus on concepts that extend beyond the walls of its home in the National Gallery Singapore. With a commitment to embracing tangible art from today’s world, the venue tributes to traditional forms such as Cooking, Architecture, and Dance and contemporary versions like Tattoos, Cinema, and Literature. Each cocktail is meticulously crafted to explore the art form it is tied to while tantalizing the senses with its creative interpretations.
