Appealing to a cosmopolitan crowd in the revamped RAYNUE space at Gaysorn-Amarin, the new Fatboy Izakaya branch retains the essence of the original Ekkamai branch, with a stylish yet sophisticated ambiance and a modern twist on the typical izakaya menu which incorporates high-quality local and imported ingredients. At the Gaysorn-Amarin branch, Fatboy Izakaya redefines the traditional izakaya experience with a delightful and personalised approach. The menu, exclusively tailored for this location, presents a blend of contemporary and signature dishes, embodying the essence of modern izakaya cuisine. Complementing these culinary offerings is a thoughtfully curated drinks menu of premium beverages, carefully selected to harmonize with the diverse flavors of the menu. Fatboy Izakaya opens daily from 11:30 am attracting a lunchtime clientele of both office workers in the Chidlom area, and the international tourists exploring Bangkok during day and night.
In the evening, the restaurant’s Japanese-modern interior with a playful hint of nostalgia, transforms itself into a one-stop destination for all types of nightlife enthusiasts. The atmosphere evolves throughout the evening, with LED lights infusing the bar area with energy and excitement. As the night progresses, the space shifts from sleek to futuristic, with the ceiling’s LED digital patterns dazzled with changing colors creating a lively and engaging atmosphere that is visible from the Ratchaprasong skywalk. The late-night vibe gets a boost from the music of all-night DJs, while the bartender delights the crowd with occasional complimentary drinks and shots.

Located on the 3rd floor of Gaysorn-Amarin, with convenient access via BTS Chidlom Exit 6, Fatboy Izakaya opens daily between 11:30am and 3:oo pm – then in the evenings form 4:00pm until midnight (Sunday to Thursday) – with late closing on Friday and Saturday nights.
