Situated on the 8th floor rooftop of the Four Points by Sheraton Bangkok, amBar rooftop lounge & bar is a smoothly decked out space, with a contemporary chic design, that offers guests the prefect setting for a chilled out experience in the warm tropical evenings enjoyed by Bangkok. Having launched just on one year ago, amBar has enjoyed considerable popularity- both with hotel guests and local residents of Bangkok- and has become one of the new “happening” nightlife destinations in Bangkok. Its location in the centre of the bustling Sukhumvit nightlife and shopping district makes it a convenient choice for either early evening drinks to watch the sunset, or for after-dinner drinks and some smooth tunes later in the evenings. A new culinary attraction has recently been added to the amBar experience- with the introduction in January of the Steakhouse Menu that is available for dinner service daily. The new menu showcases prime quality imported cuts of beef- sourced from both the USA and Australia- served in a relaxed but elegant dining setting in the open air of the amBar rooftop. The premium grilled steaks are very attractively priced and offer enticing value for a memorable gastronomic experience.

The Steakhouse Menu at amBar focuses on the prime cuts of beef that have been carefully selected by the chefs at FourPoint. There are three main categories of beef offered: Australian Black Angus grain fed that typically comes from younger cattle, with light marbling and low fat content ensuring great flavour and tenderness. Cuts served are 250gm size Tenderloin (B850), Sirloin (B650) and Rib Eye (B750)- aged either 110 days or 240 days (prices shown are for 110 day aged). Also from Australia is the premium Aussie Wagyu Beef, derived from a unique breed of cattle, rich in marbling and flavour, and exceptionally tender. Grade 5 Red Label 250gm cuts served are Rump (B650) , Tenderloin (B1,700), Sirloin (B950) and Rib Eye (B950). And finally, the certified US Black Angus Beef– three cuts also of 250gm- Tenderloin (B990), Sirloin (B850), and Rib Eye (B900). A choice of sauces accompany the steaks, and extras such as jacket potatoes, sauteed vegetables and french fries can be added.
Additional selections from the grill include Salmon Steak, Baby Spring Chicken and Lamb Chops. A compact selection of appetizers, salads, soup and desserts are also on the menu.
Salade Nicoise- Tuna, beans, potato, black olives, capsicum, shallot, boiled egg, anchovies- served in a jar and shaken with red vinegar dressing
Aussie Wagyu Sirloin- 250gm – served with black peppercorn sauce and jacket potato (extra)
Salmon Steak 250gm– served with Dijon Mustard sauce
US Angus Beef- Ribeye 250gm– served with mushroom sauce and sauteed vegetables (extra)
The drinks list at amBar is extensive- with a wide choice of quality wines at reasonable prices available to pair with the meals.
