Crossroads Cafe at Singapore Marriott Hotel recently re-opened (December 2011) after being closed for three months for renovation- one element in the total refurbishment of the entire property undertaken by the hotel owners – including the lobby- now re-named the Marriott Great Room- and all guest rooms. The luxurious Singapore Marriott Hotel – with a prominent location on the corner of Orchard and Scotts Roads, has been a fixture on the popular Orchard Road shopping and entertainment area of central Singapore for more than 16 years.
Crossroads Cafe is an upscale casual cafe and bar featuring all-day dining, with an open facade onto the pedestrian pavement at the corner of Scotts and Orchard Roads. The overall layout of the cafe remains the same, with the refurbishment focused on a new interior and furnishings color palette, the addition of a large glass-fronted refrigerated wine display cellar, and some refinements to the lighting.
The refurbishment was also the opportunity to update the menu with a new assemblage of signature dishes, and to extend the drinks offerings with both an expanded wine selection, and the largest range of draft beers on tap of any 5-star hotel outlet in Singapore.
The cafe dining concept follows an East-meets-West theme, with a wide selection of home-cooked style dishes of both Asian and international origins. Crossroads Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily- and for drinks and snacks until late in the evenings. For many years, Crossroads Cafe has been a convenient and popular meeting place for both locals and visiting tourists- and with its wide open frontage onto the sidewalk, a great spot just to sit, relax and people watch.

The upgraded wine cellar facilities have allowed Crossroads Cafe to expand the selection of premium wines- and prominently showcase the bottles in the large brass framed, glass-fronted display cellar. The impressive selection of wines include examples of all major varietals from the leading wine regions across the globe. More than 25 different wines by the glass are offered- sparkling and champagnes, red and white. The Sparkling wines include a large selection of famous brand French NV Champagnes, plus a number of NV sparkling wines from Australia. Complimenting the many premium wine labels is the Reserve Selection, a selection of the most delicious, precious wines from the Singapore Marriott cellars – many of the bottles being rare and irreplaceable vintages.
The Drinks Menu is headlined by an extensive variety of cocktails- both classics and delicious contemporary creations. Some highlights from the selection include: Scarlet Torch– Bourbon whisky, peach schnapps, freshly squeezed orange juice, cranberry juice, egg white; Bull Frog– gin, vodka, bacardi, blue curacao, red bull; Cactus Bite– silver patron tequila, vermouth, drambuie, lime juice; and Oolong Kiwi Sling– 42 below kiwi, chilled Oolong tea, freshly squeezed pineapple juice, mint leaves, vanilla syrup.

Non-alcoholic drinks feature mixes of freshly squeezed fresh fruits- for example the XR Fit – freshly squeezed pineapple juice, freshly squeezed apple juice, mint leaves, fresh ginger.
