BAY@5 is an outdoor lounge that exudes a relaxed chic- an urban oasis amid lush palm trees and tropical greenery. Nestled discretely in one corner of the expansive outdoor pool terrace at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental, Singapore , BAY@5 occupies a compact timber decked area, framed with dark timber beams, with soft canopies overhead shading the tropical sun. Superbly located, the terrace area affords uninterrupted vistas over the famous landmarks of the Marina Bay area, and across the waters of the nearby bay to the impressive skyline of the Singapore business district.
BAY@5 is an ideal setting to luxuriate in whilst watching the sunsets over the waters of Marina Bay, accompanied by a chilled bottle of champagne, or some of the sumptuous MO Cocktails. A lounge menu of light snacks to compliment the drinks is available all day from the kitchen of the Italian restaurant, Dolce Vita , adjacent on the pool terrace.

Comfortable contemporary furnishings, with soft canopies overhead providing sunshade
The lounge setting of BAY@5 is completely open on all sides, with sliding soft canopies above, allowing for cooling sea breezes to flow through uninhibited. The overhead canopies provide adequate shade from the hot tropical sun, without diminishing the bright and breezy atmosphere of the lounge. The modern furnishings feature settings of woven faux rattan- with low curvaceous chairs arranged around glass topped tables, and a number of comfortable day-bed style sofas. In addition to the spectacular external views, the lounge overlooks, from a discrete vantage point, the beautifully landscaped swimming pool, and the neighbouring indoor/outdoor Dolce Vita restaurant that shares the same terrace space.
The BAY@5 lounge is adjacent to the main pool terrace, and the Dolce Vita Italian restaurant
The Drinks Menu at BAY@5 features essentially all the specialty cocktails, spirits, beers and wines that are served from the Axis Bar & Lounge inside the hotel. Patrons at BAY@5 can indulge in any of the famous- and delicious- MO Cocktails, plus all the classic cocktails and other liquor refreshments. Sharing a chilled bottle of champagne whilst watching the spectacular equatorial sunset makes for an ideal transition from any daytime stresses into the chilled-out relaxation and enjoyment of the evening ahead.
The Lounge also serves a menu of Lounge Snacks- a selection of light dishes that are prepared in the kitchen of Dolce Vita– adjacent on the pool terrace. The compact menu features items for sharing- such as Traditional Italian Antipasti Platter– parma ham, coppa, salami, marinated vegetables, parmesan and taleggio cheese, accompanied by tomato pesto dip and homemade grissini; Seafood Tower for Two– composition of lobster, scallops, prawns, king crab and mussels, served on ice; and Selection of Deluxe Canapés– vegetarian spring roll, mille feuille, toscana crostini, duck foie gras parfait, smoked salmon rose and goat cheese.
