Pangaea Singapore first opened in September 2011, in a unique subterranean space within the stunning Crystal Pavilion on the waterfront of the iconic Marina Bay Sands complex. Sharing the Crystal Pavilion with another globally renowned nightclub- the “super-club” Avalon– Pangaea Singapore has enjoyed a remarkable debut with a full house on most evenings. Originally open three nights per week, this has recently been extended to include Thursday nights, with the lounge now open Wednesday through Saturday nights. As befits an “ultra-lounge”, the scale of Pangaea is an intimate 4,000 square feet- more like a private house party than a giant discotheque. With 19 private tables and some standing space around the bar, Pangaea has an upper limit of approx 450 guests at any one time, and a door policy that aims to maintain the optimum balance within the range of guests admitted. Perfectly pitched to tap into the rapidly increasing, and conspicuous, wealth in Singapore, Pangaea brings to Singapore the most expensive and exclusive nightlife entertainment experience yet seen in the region.

Meaning “all lands” in Greek, Pangaea pays tribute to our universal heritage, and transports guests on a tribal fantasy inspired by the Serengeti game lodges of East Africa, with interiors that fuse raw materials, and utilising genuine exotic animal skins and horned animal skulls in the decor. Resident and guest international DJs play international lounge beats, house, rock and hip-hop accompanied by live rhythms of percussionists and costumed dancers. The concept of “bottle service” in the nightclub industry was also pioneered by Michael Ault- and brings the sophistication of a European “bottle club” to the contemporary ultra-lounge experience. Glamorous table hostesses- the “Pangaea Girls” – provide personal service dedicated exclusively to the guests at a specific table for the entire night. Private tables commence with a minimum spend of S$2,500 – increasing up to the ultimate VIP private spaces- which are available for S$15,000 per night.

There is something to be said for pure unadulterated luxury, and this is made manifest at Pangaea Singapore with its exotic interiors, the glamorous and attentive staff, and the affluent, yet eclectic crowd that exudes a superior sophistication.
