The stylish Sofitel So Bangkok towers prominently over the adjacent greenery of Bangkok’s much beloved Lumpini Park. The striking architecture and inspired interiors of the newly opened urban design hotel evoke an intriguing and luxurious atmosphere of sophisticated enjoyment. Creating a series of surprising and innovative dining and drinking experiences was an essential aspect of the overall urban lifestyle concept of the new hotel. A variety of venues- including the MIXO social lounge on the 9th floor lobby level, The Water Club adjacent to the stunning outdoor infinity swimming pool, and the fine dining of Park Society offer an alluring selection of dining and socialising options.
Located on the 29th floor of the hotel, Park Society takes the fine dining experience to elevated levels with its spectacular views, and the superb cuisine created by the culinary team under the direction of award-wining Chef Paul Smart. Flowing seamlessly from the elegant interiors of the dining room, Park Society extends outside onto a stylish open-air terrace lounge setting where guests can enjoy their libations in the warm evening air – embraced by the sweeping views across Bangkok’s skyline. Resident DJs play chill out tunes, and the terrace hosts regular parties and special events. And rising above Park Society on the 30th floor is HI-SO – an exclusive rooftop series of luxurious private cabanas where guests are served either dinner or drinks by personalised butlers- at the breathtaking apex of Sofitel So Bangkok.

The sleek reception area for Park Society
The moment of arrival at the 29th floor reception for Park Society entices guests with a sleek decor dominated by black mirrored surfaces. Sliding glass doors on one side lead to the outdoor terrace, and opposite, the passageway to the dining room takes a path leading past the glass fronted wine cellar, and subsequently, the gleaming showcase kitchen. The dining room is an intimately scaled space, enclosed by full height glass windows on three sides. Tables extend the full length of the glass facade providing diners with dress circle views over Lumpini Park. At one end of the room, a semi-private dining table stands in the corner space that protrudes out from the main building profile- almost floating above the street below.
