Sheraton Hotels have recently launched a global premium wine program to be featured at more than 240 participating Sheraton hotels and resorts world-wide. The concept of the “Sheraton Social Hour” has been developed internally by the Sheraton’s global food and beverage team, in collaboration with leading wine industry experts. The program was initially trialed in a number of global Sheraton properties, and with the positive feedback of the trial, the program is now being launched at Sheraton hotels across the world. Recently, the Asia-Pacific region launch event for Sheraton Social Hour was held at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Tower in Bangkok.
The Sheraton Social Hour presents hotel guests and local residents with a specially curated selection of premier wines that are available for tasting at the Social Hour events which will be held at each property three to four times a week. For properties in the Asia Pacific region the Social Hour tasting events will offer three x 50ml pours of premium wines from the Wines of the World Menu at a special fixed price ( in Bangkok THB300). The weekly tasting events are designed to facilitate social interactions among guests and local residents, in a stylish environment, whilst enjoying tasting of premium wines. Complimenting the wines, lavish buffets of breads, cheeses and fresh fruits and vegetables will be included in the participation fee.
