Casual cafe dining in delightful new venue at Main Street Fort Bonifacio
September 27th, 2012
Offering a fresh approach to casual cafe dining in Manila, STELLA has created an attractive destination for all-day dining, serving a wide variety of bistro style dishes. The standout feature of Stella are the wood fired ovens- prominently showcased at the front of the open kitchen. The wood fired ovens burn natural timbers that suffuse their distinctive aromas into the cooking process of the dishes, creating uniquely flavorsome tastes. The extensive menu includes classic wood-fired favourites such as pizzas, additionally the wood fired cooking is used to roast and bake seafood, poultry, meat dishes- and vegetables.
Stella opened in May 2012, and has attracted both a solid brunch and lunchtime clientele, and is particularly busy in the evenings, with many families and groups of friends enjoying the casual, relaxed bistro-style dining. Stella also has the added attraction of its next door sibling venue- the ROCKET ROOM cocktail bar- offering diners the option of pre, or post dinner cocktails and drinks in the ultrachic new cocktail lounge. Stella also boasts an impressive pedigree, being the latest creation of the highly regarded Raintree Restaurants– the people behind such stand-out Manila restaurants as Museum Cafe, Chelsea Market Cafe, Mr. Jones and Momo Cafe.

The interior decor of Stella features a predominance of blond timbers, and mustard colored soft furnishings. Dark brown leather banquettes extending across one wall provide color contrast.
The tables at the front- and on the outside terrace- overlook the green spaces of the central High Street plaza
Comfortable leather booths occupy the timber panelled and glass wall that partions Stella from its sibling venue- the Rocket Room cocktail lounge.
