Lustrous modern restaurant features live show kitchens and great views from open air deck.
December 19th, 2012
The luxurious Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park is located in the upper floors of a central Bangkok office tower- overlooking the city skyline and adjacent green space of Lumpini Park. Situated in the open atrium space of the 23rd floor reception level, Panorama is a consummate all-day dining restaurant that features a boldly designed interior, with open show kitchens serving the best of Thai, Asian and International cuisines. An adjacent open air deck space- Panorama Deck– offers the additional attraction of relaxed dining in a partially outdoor environment with fabulous close-up views over the Bangkok cityscape.
In addition to the open air Panorama Deck space, an intimate, glass-encased private dining room with seating for 10 people is available- complete with its own kitchen and personal chef.
Panorama features three buffet selections daily- breakfast, lunch, and dinner ( with a Sunday brunch buffet replacing the usual lunch buffet), plus an All Day Dining, and A la Carte Dinner Menu. Open daily from 6:30 am, last orders from the kitchen are at 10:30 pm.
Inside Panorama
One of the “live” show kitchens- the boldly stylish design features the combination of glistening surfaces and the warmth of natural timbers.
The design concept for Panorama was the creation of renowned Japanese design firm- Design Studio SPIN– who also created the design for the adjoining Finishing Post bar – with both venues being completed in 2010. The audacious design dramatically utilises the vast open space of the internal atrium rising 9 floors above the restaurant floor. Two lustrously crafted open show kitchens anchor the space, with various sections of dining tables, generously separated, positioned across the main floor space. Combinations of sleek, modern materials with the natural warmth of timber flooring and traditional Thai fabric furnishings, create an eminently stylish, yet casual, dining environment. The vertical scale of the space is highlighted with the double height, glass-fronted wine cellars set into one of the restaurant walls.

Panorama is located within the open void of the 23rd floor atrium of the hotel- overlooked by the internal passageways of the accommodation floors that rise to the 32nd top floor.
The spectacular double-height, glass fronted wine cellars dominate one wall.
Semi-private dining section in one corner of the main floor space- glass doors open onto the Panorama Deck.
Panorama Deck
Rich teakwood floors, ceilings and tables- matched with woven rattan chairs add a casual warmth to the open air deck adjacent to the main Panorama dining room.

The Panorama Deck extends across the entire frontage with full height glass windows that are opened up- weather permitting.
Various arrangements of dining tables and lounge seating flank the central bar counter.
The open kitchens & cuisine at Panorama
The culinary team at Panorama prepare in the open show kitchens a wide ranging variety of authentic dishes from fresh seasonal ingredients. In addition to the buffet selections, the A la Carte Menu offers Asian and Western dishes such as Thai appetizers and spicy salads, curries and soups; “comfort” dishes include Wagyu beef cheese burgers, Fish & Chips, and Club Sandwich; and from the Grill, prime cuts of imported steak and lamb, and other meats and fish.
