JOHNNIE WALKER®, the world’s leading Blended Scotch Whisky, will usher in the Lunar New Year in Singapore with an introduction of three specially created cocktails featuring its celebratory blend, JOHNNIE WALKER® GOLD LABEL RESERVE™. A collaboration with three of Singapore’s leading cocktail bars – The Tippling Club, Jigger & Pony and Nektar, each cocktail symbolises an auspicious start to the Lunar New Year.

The cocktails – Good as Gold (Tippling Club), Liquid Luck (Jigger & Pony) and Lunar Harmony (Nektar), will be available from 1 – 28 February 2013. A premium whisky crafted for versatility, JOHNNIE WALKER® GOLD LABEL RESERVE™, with its striking liquid gold colour, is the ultimate drink for iconic celebrations – perfect for toasting to an auspicious New Year.
In the spirit of the Chinese tradition of consuming symbolic dishes for the New Year, auspicious elements have been incorporated into each cocktail. The cocktails feature key Asian ingredients, which not only represent well-wishes for the New Year, but also stimulate the senses by creating unique multi-layered flavours. For example, mandarin oranges and plums were specifically chosen and added, as they relate to good luck wishes and phrases such as Jin Yu Man Tang (金玉满堂) which means a prosperous feast and abundance of wealth.
