Mariner’s Rest- bar & gastro pub in Hullett House Hong Kong

Hullett House is a boutique hotel – opened in September 2009 within the “Heritage 1881” complex, which is the restoration of the heritage site of the former Marine Police Headquarters. The hotel was designed, and is operated by the aqua restaurant group – with the famous aqua spirit bar located on 30th floor of the office tower directly behind Hullett House.
The Mariner’s Rest is a bar / gastro pub- and is situated on the ground floor of the main hotel building. The bar was originally set up for working seamen and off-duty police and has been in operation for over 100 years. The walls display numerous photos from the history of Marine Police operations. The original jail cells have been preserved at the rear of the room.
A range of British draught beers are available on tap, and Mariners Rest is also serving typical gastro pub food.
