Established in early 2013, The Green Door takes full advantage of its prime location amid the verdant greenery of Singapore’s popular Dempsey Hill dining and lifestyle enclave, offering a laid-back environment for casual drinks and bar bites. Set within the expansive parkland gardens, guests at The Green Door enjoy a tranquil outlook from its open-air terraces making it an appealing destination for relaxed socialising. Constructed with a rustic aesthetic, and furnished with a quirky assemblage of indoor and outdoor timber settings, guests can choose from completely open-air tables set among several levels of garden terraces, or under the shelter of the covered bar area. The well-stocked bar offers a wide range of refreshments, with a focus on the signature “garden” inflected cocktails. Complementing the drinks, the kitchen serves up a compact selection of gourmet bar bites, sharing plates, and hearty main dishes.
The Green Door is a concept from creative local restaurant and nightlife operators – The Prive Group. Open daily from 5 pm ( and from 1 pm on Sundays for the popular family and pet-friendly brunch), The Green Door attracts guests for after-work drinks with its generous Happy Hour promotion between 5 pm and 8 pm, and also for casual dining, or post-dinner libations. Reservations are only accepted for groups of 10+ persons.

A well-crafted cocktail list features signature “garden” themed cocktails made with fresh garden produce and house-grown herbs. Standout drinks include the Passion In The Garden – with Beefeater gin, Pimm’s, fresh passion fruit pulp, fresh pineapple, rose syrup, rosemary; and the Berry Berry Fabulous – a combination of bourbon, crème de cassis, fresh strawberries, strawberry purée, lemon juice, and mint leaves. Further cocktail options include a solid selection of classics such as Negroni; Frozen Mojito; Singapore Sling; and Pimm’s. Other beverage options include mocktails, shooters, wines, fine champagnes and beers.

Appetizing selections from the Food Menu include Small Plate serves such as the Pulled Pork Baguette – house-made bbq sauce and Asian slaw; and Mini Corndogs – with honey mustard sauce. And Mains include favourites like the Roasted Eggplant Pizza – tomato-basil sauce, mozzarella, tomatoes, parmesan, balsamic reduction; and TGD Wagyu Cheeseburger – with red cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, served with fries.
