Celebrated Sathorn craft cocktail bar & grill restaurant now open at Thonglor community mall

Popular Sathorn-based eatery Lady Brett Tavern, and its associated upstairs speakeasy-styled cocktail bar – UNCLE – have recently replicated their successful combination of grill dining and top-shelf cocktails with new branches established at the new Thonglor community mall – 72 Courtyard. While essentially following the original concepts for both venues, the menu at Lady Brett has been refreshed in a collaboration with locally based Australian chef Jess Barnes – founding partner of Thonglor eatery Opposite Mess Hall. Upstairs at UNCLE, a new cocktail list has been created with the focus on well-priced “classics with a twist”, while the contemporary luxe of the larger indoor/outdoor space dials back the speakeasy vibe of the original Sathorn bar. Created and operated by the Sapparot Group, Lady Brett and UNCLE are joined at 72 Courtyard by the other group brand – Rocket Coffeebar – found at the street level of the centre.
Design Guests familiar with the original Sathorn branches will find comfort in the consistent decor concept at the new venues. Occupying a more voluminous space than Sathorn, both Lady Brett on the lower level – and UNCLE above – offer expanded seating options – both indoor and on outdoor terraces. At Lady Brett, plush red leather banquettes, white tiled walls, and timber floors and the open kitchen evoke upscale bistro dining. And accessed via the internal staircase, UNCLE exudes an understated sophistication with its centrepiece black marble bar, subdued lighting, and comfortable leather sofas.
Cocktails & Cuisine The new branch of UNCLE boasts the same highly-credentialed cocktail DNA as the original Sathorn bar. A totally new cocktail list has been created by the Sapparot bar team – with an emphasis on polished renditions of “classic with a twist” drinks – notably at very approachable prices. Standouts among the tweaked classics include the Kingston Sour (whiskey sour with a Caribbean twist); and Manhattan Latino (Manhattan with rum). Drinks from the UNCLE list can also be ordered downstairs at Lady Brett which additionally offers its own collection of cocktails.
Under the direction of new chef Jess Barnes, the menu at Lady Brett is centred around charcoal barbecued meats and seafood – while small plates, salads, and burgers add further choices on the concise menu.
Lady Brett Tavern opens daily from 6pm and midnight – serving dinner only, while upstairs at UNCLE , the opening hours are daily between 6pm and 1am.
