Since opening in March 2017 Atlas Grand Lobby & Bar has received acclaim for its refined Art Deco interior and refined drinks concept centred around classic cocktails from the 1920’s and 30’s, an extraordinary selection of gins, and a unique collection of fine vintage and rare champagne. Complemented by a menu of modern European cuisine, guests can enjoy all day dining and sophisticated drinks from the international team of leading hospitality professionals. Occupying the impressively voluminous lobby space of the prestigious Parkview Square tower – with its 15 metre high ceilings, elaborately stamped bronze relief plaques, and luxurious furnishings, ATLAS celebrates a bygone era of glamorous indulgence. Serving guests from 8am – ATLAS offers a continental style breakfast, lunch, afternoon high tea and dinner, while at the twin bars, refreshments and cocktails, plus a compact bar menu, are served until late at night.
Design Under the direction of the private family owners of Parkview Square, the previous lobby space has been reimagined into an exquisitely detailed Art Deco-era grand cafe and bar. Taking inspiration from 1920’s European grand hotel lobbies, the centrepiece feature of the impressive space is the tower showcasing over 1,000 bottles of gin that reaches up to the ceiling from behind the main bar. Generously spaced seating across the expansive floor space offer comfortable settings for discrete conversations and sociable gatherings.
Drinks & Cuisine In harmony with the Art Deco-inspired decor, the drinks menu at ATLAS is centred around a meticulously executed selection of classic cocktails from the 1920’s and 30’s, complemented by a unique list of vintage martinis, and the extraordinary assemblage of gin labels. A walk-in cellar holds a collection of over 250 bottles of rare vintage and Premium Cuvee Champagnes from pre-eminent champagne houses. Dining at Atlas offers an approachable menu of modern European cuisine with both grazing and small appetizer-style plates, large plates and pleasurable sweets.
ATLAS opens Monday to Friday from 8am ( midday on Saturdays) with drinks service until late. Dress code requests casual chic attire.
