Street art-inspired rooftop venue boasts of spectacular views across the Gulf of Thailand
March 7th, 2018
Less-than-three-hours drive from Bangkok, Novotel Hua Hin Cha-Am Beach Resort & Spa recently unveiled the Gravity Sky Bar – a spectacular rooftop al fresco setting with breath-taking seascapes along the Cha Am beachfront. Perched atop the 24-level hotel, the newest rooftop bar in Hua Hin offers a 360-view of the province – a perfect place to witness ocean sunsets and dramatic night-time horizon.
Gravity Sky Bar bursts with a youthful, creative energy as its walls drip with colourful artworks from two of Thailand’s best street artists – Muralist Rukkit Kuanha-Wate, whose distinctive works beam with his iconic crosshatch style, adorn the walls with vibrant images of animals. And Graffitist Kittipong Kamsart, on the other hand, cast a spell with his dashing typographical flair. Canopied couches and bespoke upholstered chairs add a colourful touch to the outdoor scenery. Able to accommodate 110 guests, Gravity Sky Bar is a perfect escape for afternoon refreshments and romantic evenings, and alternatively for private dining, special events and weddings.
Behind the bar, the house-specialities are drinks bursting with flavours from the signature Sensory Cocktails – in-house mixes that dance along with the artistic cadence of the space. Take in the views and art-forward decor while sipping wines, premium spirits, single malts or local beers – with an extensive list of classic cocktails – including perennial favourites Singapore Sling, Manhattan, and Mojitos to satisfy all tastes. Refreshing mocktails include a Virgin Pina Colada; Cranberry Cooler; and Pineapple Nojito.
Gravity Sky Bar is open daily from 4 pm to 10 pm.
