Authentic Cantonese & dim sum cuisine complemented with flavorful cocktails
March 20th, 2021
Opulent Chinese restaurant Madame Fan offers unique a dining experience with its inspired blend of traditional Chinese heritage and modern dining sensibilities. The first Southeast Asian venue from acclaimed restaurateur Alan Yau – founder of the famed Hakkasan restaurants – Madame Fan occupies a glamorous space within the heritage NCO Club building now integrated within the JW Marriott South Beach hotel. With decor invoking old-school glamour and decadence diners at Madame Fan can expect contemporary Cantonese cuisine, imaginative cocktails whilst immersed in an ambiance of diva-led background music.
First introduced in August 2020 – the dim sum brunch menu epitomizes the progressive culinary approach at Madame Fan. Head chef Mike Tan draws on his experience opening Hakkasan Miami to execute the progressive yet authentic Cantonese cuisine – and together with bartender June Baek – create enticing pairings of dim sum and cocktails. Highlights of the pairings include the combination of crispy duck roll with the Sichuan margarita – the tang and spice of the margarita helping refresh the palate while eating; whilst the combination of classic char siu bao with a bourbon whiskey sour matches strong flavors in the dish with bold flavors in the glass.
The Madame Fan dim sum brunch menu is served on Saturdays and Sundays (and Public Holidays) between 11:00 am and 3:30 pm; while lunch is available Monday to Friday, and dinner is served Monday to Sunday.
