Art-deco themed bar offers premium drinks, gourmet bites, and nightly live entertainment

Hyatt Regency opened its first hotel in the heart of Phnom Penh in November 2021 as the newest and largest luxury five-star hotel in Cambodia. Superbly located in close proximity to the city’s main attractions – with scenic views across the National Museum, Royal Palace, and the lively riverside.
Located in a voluminous basement space of the hotel, the recently opened Metropole Underground has become a leading nightlife destination for a discerning clientele with its stylish design inspired by the glamorous early 20th Century Parisian art-deco period. Retro design cues from the Paris Metro include decorative elements such as cast-iron replicas – while the interior also elegantly blends European and Khmer influences. The expansive layout includes spaces for dining, chilling out with cocktails at the central bar – or socialising in the sumptuous leather banquette and sofa settings. A performance space hosts nightly entertainment with live bands and DJs.
At the bar, drink options include well-crafted cocktails, an extensive list of premium spirits, and wines, plus local and imported beers. Complementing the beverages, the bar food menu offers light Asian bites, gourmet pizzas, and classic bar foods such as Angus Beef Burger, Chicken Wings, and Roasted Pork Belly Fried Rice.
Live entertainment at Metropole Underground ranges from live indie to chilled jazz and uplifting DJ beats – playing nightly between 7:30 pm and 1:00 am.
