Artesian Bar, the latest addition to The Langham, Jakarta, opened in December 2023. Embracing laid-back luxury, while pairing exceptional cocktails with an elegant and inviting environment, the luxurious 65th-floor rooftop destination has added an enticing addition to the Jakarta nightlife scene. As an offshoot of the award-winning Artesian Bar at The Langham London, a four-time winner of the title of the world’s best bar, Artesian Bar Jakarta draws on this impressive pedigree to deliver elevated mixology and polished hospitality.
The rooftop bar and lounge blends indoor and outdoor garden spaces, with the bar nestled beneath a glass roof that allows shadows to bathe the space and the mosaic floor in a kaleidoscope of colors and highlight accents inspired by the natural wonders and colors of the garden. The inviting indoor lounge space offers soft-hued furnishings that create an atmosphere of serenity, with lounge walls adorned with artworks inspired by nature, which harmoniously complement the Deco Gothic-inspired interior.
At the heart of the Artesian experience is a meticulously curated cocktail menu, dedicated to celebrating the three kingdoms of life. Divided into three distinct sections, “Kingdom of Plants,” “Kingdom of Animals,” and “Kingdom of Humans”, each cocktail category presents a unique and artisanal interpretation of life. From botanical-infused concoctions to innovative blends inspired by the animal kingdom, and thought-provoking libations that honor the human spirit, the menu is a testament to the artistry and creativity of the Artesian team.
Through the innovative use of premium spirits, house-made infusions, and avant-garde techniques, the mixologist promises to deliver an extraordinary sensory experience that transcends the ordinary. Cocktails such as Forbidden, Passion, Devine, Envy, Temptation, Evil, Anxiety, Sin, Seduction, Ego, and Pure are some of the Signature Cocktails ready to be served in dedication to the concept above. The beverage menu also features some Signature Aged Cocktails including Applewood Cognac, Negroni, Coconut Kingston, Aged Flower Bomb, Tonka Old Fashioned, and more.

In addition to the exquisite cocktail selection, the tapas menu offers a tantalizing array of tapas delights designed to complement the unique flavors of the signature drinks. Guests can indulge in an assortment of delectable small plates such as Charcoal Wagyu and Foie Gras sliders, Classic Nachos with melted cheese sauce, crispy Wagyu Gyoza, and many more.

Artesian Bar Jakarta opens Wednesday to Saturday between 5:00 pm and 1:00 am and on Sundays from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Enhancing the nightlife experience, Artesian Bar Jakarta presents live DJ performances on Wednesday to Saturday nights.
